About Us
Our Vision
Here at AHTA Wellness we have the entire patient in mind. We understand that health and wellness goals are individualized, and we want to help each and every person attain those goals. We believe that preventing disease is the foundation to good health. We want to help our patients by being their primary care team to help them live life to the fullest and feel great no matter what stage in life.
Our Mission
As a team of providers, our goal is to use the latest advances in hormonal testing and management as well as primary care and gynecological services that when combined will provide patients with the foundation to feel and look better. Aging is a normal and expected process, but with more and more research showing us that a decline in hormones, though natural, does not have to be left unmanaged. When we address these declines in hormones we can prevent the adverse effects of aging, prevent disease, prevent cancer, prevent and treat depression/anxiety, and help individuals live fuller, happier, healthier lives.

I have been under Doctor Sutton’s care now for going on 8 months and it has been truly life-changing. Having undergone a radical hysterectomy at the age 24 with no hormone replacement that worked, I literally walked into her office feeling like The Walking Dead. Through working with her we were able to restore my hormonal balance and restore a quality of life I have not experienced for decades! I think one of the best things about her is she truly listened to me about how I felt, she stayed in constant communication with me, made follow-up phone calls after we adjusted medication and kept me informed about where I was in the process. Thank you Doctor Sutton for giving me back a life and health I could fully enjoy!!

Katie Sutton, MD
Dr. Sutton is the Medical Director of Advanced Hormone Therapy and Aesthetics. She is a board certified Obstetrician Gynecologist and specializes in hormone therapy and optimization for both men and women. She went to Kansas State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Science in Biology in 2002. She then went to the University of Kansas School of Medicine and graduated at the top of her class in 2006. She was accepted into the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences OBGYN residency program where she was elected as the Senior resident during her fourth year and was on the residency interview committee and review board. After graduating in 2010. She went on to practice as an OBGYN at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas and was a volunteer faculty member for the University of Kansas OBGYN residency program and served on the residency interview committee. After 5 years in practice in Wichita, Dr Sutton took a position in her home town of Manhattan, KS where she practiced as a private OBGYN for her community for nearly 5 years. It was during this time she began to see patients with a variety of concerns that were suggestive of hormone imbalance and as she saw more and more patients with these concerns she realized a need for care specializing and focusing on optimizing her patient’s health and wellness through specific blood tests, monitoring and personalized hormone management. She understands that each individual is unique and that hormonal balance is achieved by meeting these specific needs.
As your provider I understand the challenges of balancing personal health and wellness goals with life. As a working mother of two girls, Emma and Rebecca, and a wife to my wonderful husband, James, I have experienced the frustration of working to meet personal wellness goals and feeling like there just wasn’t any progress despite “doing all the right things.” I finally checked my own hormones and was shocked to see how out of balance I was despite all the over the counter supplements, exercise, eating all the right foods, etc. But once I corrected my hormone levels I felt and saw changes I never thought possible. My energy and sleep improved, which led to improved mood and handling stress better. My workouts were more effective and a started to see changes in my body that I had been working hard to achieve. It has been an amazing journey and I want my patients to have the same experience and be able to live life to the fullest and feel better.
